Transhuman, a new label from Madrid (Spain). Our first release "Transcending the postindustrial" is out since 1 Jun in 12" inch format, Arcanoid & The Transhuman are the artist of this new release. This is a carefully edition in all aspects: all releases have been manufacturated and stamped with the logo one by one and include an inside manufacturated pamphlet with the record thematic.

Production and mixing have been realized in Sicom Studios (Madrid) by The Transhumans and Arcanoid, mastering by Optimum Mastering (Bristol-UK) and pressing by Record Industry.

Transhumans first reference " Trascending the Postindustrial " gives birth to this record label with Arcanoid and The Transhumans. Musicly we find ourselves with a techno and electro album, that has strong music influences from Detroit to Techno European Dub.

Arcanoid give us the pleasure to hear two very personal and hard to describe tracks.It`s first cut," Old Memories " is influenced by krautrock. It brings back nostalgic and gloomy memories, so it acquires a cinematographic soundtrack, full of harmony and changing melodies in a song structure. The second " Dislexia " is an electro-soft track with simmilar sound,to the English IDM from record lables such as Warp, Skam,Rephlex, but with a clasic base line.

Three techno tacks by The Transhumans close the first reference. " Postindustrial " is cyclical but with a dynamic development that inmerses the listener in a hypotic state, M-Plant style, industrial squeaks and atmospheres of the Motor City. The most inward looking cut of the album is " Space Time Illusion ". It ́s mysterious and mental character submerges us in a trip that breaks the temporary space barriers on a fores ful base and acid old-school line. " Alma y Maquina " the third, fuses two of the main techno currents of the 90.One on hand, it remembers the Techno German Dub, and on the other hand the deep and delicate Detroit sounds. The title of the disc wants to represent a series of decisive transformations that are happening in humanity. All these changes make us think that we leave the modern or industrial world for better of worse, and we enter ourselves in the Postindustrial or Postmodern era.

The cover design with the " Diamond Ranch Hi-School " (Study of Morphosis Archi- tecture), faithfully accompanies the tittle for being a visionary construction that goes beyond the limitations of it´s moment.

A truly remarkable album! I'd like to add that this is one of very few albums that I think truly sound better on vinyl, as it only enhances the intended experience. Every little bit seeps with atmosphere, like watching a dystopian, heavily grainy, space movie with ships surveying distant planets. That goes for the artwork as well, to which I'm sure everyone can agree, is the perfect marriage of both sound and visualization. Here's to hoping there'll be a 2846! Trisska
